10 Reasons why you should use a Travel Agent
January and February have traditionally been very busy months in the life of a Travel Agent as that has been the time since most people book their holidays for that year.When I am my weekly networking event with BNI Meridies I often tell them why its so important to book with a travel agent rather than try to do it themselves. I also remember a story from one of my clients from when I sent them their holiday quotation and her colleague asked what it was and when she told her it was a holiday proposal from her Travel Agent her colleague replied, "Oh do they still exist"!
So I have some up with 10 Reasons as to why they should use us as a travel agent compared to using the internet, strangely not more than 5 minutes before I had been reading an article from a USA agent, who had the same debate with a client.

People often ask me how much I charge to book their holiday, the truth is I don't charge, we get paid a from the tour operator, so the holiday costs you exactly the same as you would get it direct from them. We also go the extra mile, by booking seats, checking you in etc, some airlines would charge you for that at the airport.

You will only know how good an agent is if something goes wrong.. a travel agent can save the day for you as they are there to help in an emergency. Something unforeseen can happen at any time and this is when a travel agent is worth their weight in gold. If you get to your hotel to find there is no reservation, who do you call? Overtime I get to know what you like and don't like which really helps me create your dream holiday and keep you up to date on any deals I think you will like. A travel agent always has the holiday-maker’s best interests at heart.
