2 Days of Exploring the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria
Day 4 The weather was not on our side as we left the Twelve Apostles, in fact it more of less followed us all the way back to Melbourne and on to the Mornington Peninsula. The Mornington Peninsula has long been established as Melbourne's favourite playground located about an hours drive south east of Melbourne. If there is something familiar about the Mornington Peninsula its because it has a bit of a Mediterranean feel about it especially with the olives groves and vineyards dotted around. Its a great location to escape from the city and head for some truly idyllic beaches with some pretty familiar names! With historic fishing villages such as Hastings and laid back shoreline locations such as Sorrento it won’t be long before you’re affected by the charm of this little piece of land.
