Since I last visited in 2016 this resort has undergone a major refurbishment and is set to reopen on the 15 May 2019 so read all about this amazing resort The New Le Preskil Resort Arrival When we arrived at Preskil Beach we actually arrived by speedboat however most clients arrive at the fantastic resort normally by private car and its just a short 15 minute transfer. Preskil Beach Resort is on the South-East coast of Mauritius .  The resort is the only hotel in Mauritius to be on a private peninsula, which gives you a feeling of your own private island, with a large beach which gently slopes into the breathtaking turquoise coloured lagoon making it good for families. And so our Australian Adventure continues..... Day 21 We had booked to spend 2 days on Tangalooma Island  which is located on Moreton Island and just 75 minute catamaran cruise from Brisbane. Moreton Island is a sand island, Queensland is home to the four largest sand islands in the world, the largest being Fraser Island, whilst Moreton Island is considered the Adventure Island. There is plenty to keep you busy here no matter how long you want to stay for and plenty of options of accommodation from hotel rooms to apartments. We had to wait a little while for check in and so headed to the B&B's Bar before  heading to our room. And so our Australian Adventure continues with .... Day 9   We arrived at my Cousin Clare and her husband Robs house which was located in a suburb just outside Brisbane called Rochedale South where we would base ourselves for the next few weeks and were so happy that we could actually unpack properly for the first time since leaving the UK. Day 10 This was my cousins daughters christening day. Day 11 Andy was excited to visit Rob's shop Hobby1  and like a kid in a sweet shop as its the place to visit if you are into Model Kits, Model Railways, Radio Control Vehicles, Drones, Slot Cars, Diecast Models, Puzzles or Rockets, you will certainly find it all there at Hobby One. Day 13  Today we found out that the Australians love a pie.  We visited the famous  Yatala Pie Shop.  This shop has been in the area for more than 130 years and nowadays often sells in excess of 3,500 pies a day and even has a drive through.  They have a g...
